The cause of death was inflammation of the bowels. The remains of the little one were brought to this place, accompanied by her mother, Frank Conover and family, of Chicago, and Will Conover, of Nunda. Services were held at the Christian church, Sunday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by Rev. Wm. Oeschger, after which the body was consigned to its final resting place in the Crystal Lake cemetery. Another child was laid to rest not long since, and the widowed mother is now left to mourn her last hope. Among those from abroad who attended the funeral were Mrs. Peasley and Mr. and Mrs. Grannon, of Elgin, and friends from Huntley.
